WYE |chamfer| bar stool - sidetable
WYE made an award winning collection with the |chamfer| pieces. Thanks to linecutting and cubic geometries, the furniture has an affinity for light and shadow. The clear reflections on surfaces and edges support the intended clear and comprehensible design language. The warm and matt surface of Neolign contrasts with the smooth and cold sheet metal frame. At the same time, the colors of the materials harmonize and result in a modern and simple composition.
WYE came up with Neolign®, an innovative material developed by themselves. It's a by-product of the wood industry. Neolign® consists of 83% wood shavings in combination with special colour pastes and polymers and offer therefor a clear, exceptional design - in keeping with the Micro Living trend.
All pieces are suited for indoor and outdoor use: powder coating and Neolign are weather resistant. Just like any other wood Neolign develops a Patina. Thanks to the throughcolouring of the material it can be sanded off to show a brand new and fresh colour again.
The |chamfer| side table is inspired by a historic vase table and therefor perfect to showcase an art piece. The seat is made of solid Neolign® and the legs are made out of steel. The functionality is very important. So, the side table can also serve as a plant table or bar stool (with it's 73 cm just a little bit longer than the average 75 cm). A particular advantage of the product design is the user-friendly configuration and dismantling of the furniture. If you use the furniture on the balcony or in the garden, for example, you can easily store it during the cold season to save space.
