Tradition & mission of TemaHome
TemaHome counts with more than thirty years of experience in the furniture and lifestyle industry, It was firstly founded in 1981 as “Norema Portuguesa,” resulting of the junction of a Norwegian companie and a Portugese compagnie.
In 2008, the company became “TemaHome”. The company employs over 135 professionals, all working together in its 17.000 square meters production plant in the city of Tomar. Today, TemaHome produces a collection of contemporary furniture, that combine modern lines and award winning designs by some of the most respected Portuguese designers, such as Fernando Brízio and Filipe Alarcão. This attention to the design of each product, results in timeless pieces that can fit into an endless variety of contexts.
Respect for the environment is an important issue for TemaHome. They exercise four basic principles:
- reduce the material intensity and energy intensity of commodities.
- produce eco-friendly products.
- no protected wood species are ever used
- be an active member of the EU’s GreenDot society (Packaging Recovery Organization Europe)

The TemaHome Flow is a minimalistic and stylish desk of 140 cm. A nice detail is that the legs of this desk can be mounted in different ways.
SHOWROOM MODEL The TemaHome Loft desk has a clear line, lots of workspace and with solid oak legs.
The Volga desk by TemaHome is only 90 cm wide; a perfect workplace for compact rooms. The Volga is also suitable for teenage rooms.
