Mr & Mrs Tin; a new future for nostalgic tin toys
Mr & Mrs Tin originated from a collective of friends with a great passion for tin handmade toys, led by Alain de Rauw. The latter also owns a small toy museum in Belgium. The moving robots by Mr & Mrs are made in Shanghai at Mr Yin's HaHa Toys factory. With attention and a great eye for detail, printed tin plates with parts of the robots are punched out 1 by 1 and then assembled by hand by Tin masters. The mechanism is carefully tested. There are 8 different tin robots, of which only 2000 were made. You can see on the accompanying card which number you have conquered. A unique opportunity for collectors!
