Mikati represents the Collette-meets-Dover Street Market of the Middle East. Mira has collaborated with a number of brands and now also with Lucie Kaas. The Lucie Kaas Kokeshi dolls are made from beech wood and are carefully hand-painted and finished with a durable varnish. The characters in this collection are icons from the art & design world that influence and inspire us, but also fantasy characters.

Kokeshi dolls originally come from northern Japan. The body without arms or legs and the relatively large head are typical. Becky Kemp is the artist behind the Lucie Kaas collection. Her work is inspired by geometric expression, Japanese illustrations and Scandinavian aesthetics. At the end of 2015 she started her collaboration with Lucie Kaas. A Danish company that has a great feeling for geometric patterns and wooden objects and represents several designers.
