Acrylic Dics by Knikstudio

When there are acrylic plates that can no longer be used to make the tables, Knikstudio occasionally produces a series of Discs of of these plates. It is a set of 3 serving boards in different sizes and there is a choice of 2 color combinations.
In addition to the general maintenance advice, Knikstudioadvices you not to place the Discs in the dishwasher and no cutting on the panels. The DISCS are supplied with transparent studs.

The acrylic is 100% recycled. You are purchasing a sustainably produced product and we love that at Hoeked! PMMA acrylic is stronger, more flexible, safer and lighter than glass. It is UV and water resistant. The transparent colored products let a lot of light through, which creates a colorful spectacle when light shines on them. The edges are lasered for a perfect finish.

Important for use and maintenance:
- PMMA acrylic is wear-resistant but sensitive to scratches
- Cleaning can be done with a damp microfiber cloth and a small drop of washing-up liquid
- PMMA acrylic is not heat resistant. This means that it melts when exposed to fire and very hot objects. You can simply put a cup of tea or coffee on the table, but the use of coasters is recommended.
